Joei Lau was born and educated in Hong Kong. She started off her career in Asian Equities
but continuously dabbled in art until she fell in love with Western Calligraphy in 1995. Joei furthered her art study and eventually graduated from prestigious Musashino Arts University specializing in Graphic Design. She also has had several exhibitions in Tokyo while continuing to pursue her masterfs
degree in Communication Design in the mentioned University. Currently, she develops
wide range of workshops in alphabet art for young children varied from traditional
calligraphy.
Joei speaks Cantonese, English and Japanese. She is also a mother of a 8-year old boy. She
delights in sharing her innovation,
combining
herexperience in "child rearing", design and calligraphy in
unique and exciting workshops. Most of
